Christmas Produce Giveaway and $500 Worth Contests
Bradford, ON — 12/12/2024 – This holiday season, Gwillimdale Farms is embracing the spirit of giving with a Christmas campaign designed to support families in need and bring some festive cheer to the community. We will be distributing fresh produce boxes to individuals and families in need, ensuring they have access to nutritious, farm-fresh food during this special time of year. Alongside the food donation drive, Gwillimdale Farms is excited to announce a week-long Christmas contest with prizes worth $500 and additional giveaways for lucky winners.
Gwillimdale Farms has also partnered with Big Mountain Foods to expand this initiative further and ensure even more families benefit. Together, the organizations will donate 15 food boxes this Christmas to deserving families. Residents across Ontario are encouraged to nominate families they know who could use some extra holiday cheer. The nomination process will take place through social media, making it easy for the everyone to participate.
As a family-owned farm with deep roots in Bradford, Ontario, Gwillimdale Farms is committed to supporting the community, especially during the holiday season when food security is a growing concern for many families. The holiday produce boxes will include a mix of seasonal, high-quality vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, onions, and beets – all harvested with care from Gwillimdale Farms and a box of Vegan Roast by Big Mountain Foods.
We are also deeply committed to giving back to our local community and are proud to support the Innisfil Church by donating a total of 1,000 lbs. of fresh produce. The produce will be included in the church’s Christmas hampers. By contributing to this initiative, we hope to bring some holiday cheer and ensure that every member of our community has access to healthy, nutritious food during this special time of year.
