“Many updates were made to our new facility, including new washrooms, offices, storage rooms, and a large new barn for the potato line, along with more warehouse capacity,” Quinton states. “This expansion primes Gwillimdale Farms for further growth as it will allow us to better utilize each grade of potatoes properly.”
The new, state-of-the-art potato line will be launched at the beginning of March and gives the provider complete flexibility to run multiple different products simultaneously, a move driven in part by the recent impacts of COVID-19.
