Throughout the day, our Quality Assurance Technicians conduct audits on our operations to ensure procedures are being followed consistently. They verify product weights, confirm lot coding accuracy, inspect product grading, and monitor employee compliance with food safety and hygiene practices. Recently, we expanded our team by adding a dedicated full-time Quality Assurance Technician at our storage facility.

By regularly assessing storage conditions, we can better understand and manage factors such as temperature, airflow, humidity, and product condition. Twice each day, our team records room temperatures, product temperatures, and carbon dioxide levels in our storage barns to help maintain optimal conditions and preserve product quality.
Technology also plays an important role in our food safety and quality systems. Through cloud-based reporting tools such as Lotpath, we can record inspection findings quickly and efficiently, share information across teams, and identify trends that support continuous improvement.
